Several Things To Consider

Before I start, I voted "Yes"...but to be precise, I'm not sure if that is a definitive truth.
Quite a few people have mentioned that they do not purchase things via the Internet, implying that they do not trust online vendors. They present the example of ebay. I concur: ebay is to some extent, unreliable not that the company is bad or dishonest per-se, but rather that the individual vendors might not present what you are looking for. At one point I was about buy video card: (actually specs are: GeForce3 Ti4200 128m, but that's irrevelant); all my friends unanimously said not to take this really nice offer on ebay, but rather to buy it from a respectable company: even if it's at a higher price. You never know who you are dealing with on ebay...really you don't.
Yet TICALC isn't a random vendor online. I dare say the majority of you could not name a single employee of TICALC. However, I would suggest that TICALC does not seem it will be the type of "company" (in the future that is), to "mass sell", then disappear, knowing that it has sold little more than unreturnable trash.
What are some disadvantages of buying online though? To start off, there might be no returning for software. If there's no trial/shareware software, there's you won't know if its good or bad. Being essentially a new company, it will not have the reputation of Microsoft, Norton/Symantec, Adobe, etc.; or for hardcore gamers: Blizard, etc. Have you heard of a company called da Vinci Technologies Group? Really? You're telling me you've never heard of them? Ok...it's the company that brings you a TI89 APP: ME*Pro.
So basically, if TICALC is going to make software, we want shareware or rather trial versions for testing, at least for the 1 to 3 years.
Alright im a bit tired now, so I'm just going to end it here.
