I had the same problem for a while, but it's working again now.

I went out to run, and when I came back, it was working :) It was really strange... the other news items would load, but the current one wasn't. Ah well, it's fixed now :)

I would, but it would really depend on what merchanidise was sold and what the quality was like. Of course, price is also a major factor, but if I could get a nice looking t-shirt with a cool ticalc logo on it for $15 or less, I'd probably go for it.

Hey, you have a low userID. Feel special :)

Another thing is, I'd guess that 80% of the "community" is in high school and I'd guess most of us don't have credit cards to order over the internet by ourselves.

Yes, that's it. If there is going to be ticalc.org merchandise, we should be able to mail in a check or something also. I would have no regrets if I could help out ($15 or so) with the site's overhead costs. It's great that we have no ads.

I'm in HS now, and got involved in ticalc.org around October of seventh grade (uh... that would be october of 2000 I think). Sadly, I'll probably die out (figuratively, of course) around the end of college, but maybe not (Mr. Nussbaumer is a wonderful example).

I would buy ticalc.org stuff, just not all of it. Shirts and maybe some other nifty items like office supplies (pens, pencils, papers, notepads) would definitely be purchased by me, other things I'm not so sure about

POCKET PROTECTORS! Just kidding... do people actually use those things anymore? That would be REALLY nerdy :)

Now that you mention it, small stuff like pens, notepads, etc. would be nice.

WHAT THE HECK WAS WRONG WITH THAT COMMENT????? WHY DO YOU DELETE COMMENTS THAT ARE ON TOPIC MV? THE SURVEY IS ASKING IF YOU WOULD BUY MERCHANDISE, I RESPONDED BY SAYING "NO, BUY MY MERCHANDISE" AND YOU DELETE THE ENTIRE THREAD.

YOU HAVE SOME SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH DELETING GOOD COMMENTS.

please tell me which guideline that violated and i will apologize and never post on ticalc.org ever again. (it was not an advertisement, "advertisement" is right next to "spam" meaning "offtopic advertisements".

yes, this comment violates the guidelines, so delete it AFTER you respond via email MV.

"advertisements" is there to discourage posts like "go to my site and buy my ebay items"...

I'm sorry that this is going to disappoint you, but I didn't delete your post. In fact, I haven't deleted any ticalc.org posts in about 1.5 days, because I've been lying in the agony of sickness.

About 15 minutes after this was posted, I'm going to go through my rounds of cleanup though.

Well, just out of curiosity... how did you make all of those items to sell? How much profit do you get off them?

currently not a single person has purchased a single product except for me. I bought a sticker, 2 mousepads (different designs, the new one is better), and a clock. The cafepress people digitally put my image on their base images for previewing, the the previews are quite accurate as to what the real thing looks like. The stuff is surprisingly high quality; buy stuff!

I have soom partiality but hey here are my 2 cents. People if you do like some of the stuff at the store for Calcgames.org pleae buy it. The money that we get from it will go to the site for improvements etc. BTW when I have some free time I plan on making more pics for shirts etc. I designed two of the gfx.

An orange case with a black calculator? That would go good for Halloween :)

My calculator case protector thinger has tape on it... to keep those small rubber things on the calculator from coming off. They really pick up a lot of dust... I remember somebody complaining about that about a year ago, and it finally happened to me :)

Nerd Formula
JcN  Account Info

The nerd formula is N=(PT)^C

N is the measurement of nerdy dedication to the sciences, P is the number of programming languages the person knows, T is the length of time the person has been writing software (in years), and C is the number of computing devices (calculator or computer) that the person owns.

I encourage everyone to calculate their nerd dedication :)

Like I suggested before, if there was a Inter-National TI-Calc.org Convention there could be all sorts of stuff, like T-shirts. I'd surely get one!!

And then we could go down the street and have a PARADE! LOL, had to bring that up :) I wonder if TI does something like that secretly ;-)

would you rather buy from Texas Instruments or ticalc.org???

Probably ticalc, since they aren't charging any money for anything. But, it would probably be easier to get my parents to buy from TI because "it's official"...... come to think of it, I doubt I could get them to buy me anything TI-calc related except for a calculator (they know I loooooove programming).
