Annual TI App ContestPosted by Michael on 18 May 2003, 06:52 GMT
TI has announced their third annual TI App Development Contest. For those of you unfamiliar with this, the objective is to develop a "creative, mind-expanding, user-friendly" flash application for the 73, 83+/SE, 89/92+/200. There are a variety of prizes in the Z80 and 68000 categories, such as trips and TI products. The contest is open until August 20. Go code now! | |

Hey! Cool! I already got one made for this contest, so I suppose I could send it in as well as another one and maybe, just maybe, i'll get one of those cool slide cases ^_^
though, if I got at least third prize I'd be happy...i just one of those robots ^_^' the trip would be nice, but I'd probably choose Seattle to see Dr. Crane ~_~

I entered last year and the prizes/rules are exactly the same (I guess they decided against being creative). This year, though, they are allowing *only* TI-FLASH programs, so stupid games like Tankers won't even get 3rd place :)
Good luck to everybody, don't make a glorified list editor with a different name (I called it "multi-language dictionary") like I did last year!

What about the TI-86? TI seems to think that it's an inferior "value" calc just because it doesn't have flash, and they make a distinction between apps (progs for calcs that have flash) and programs (progs for calcs that don't). It annoys me, because I have a TI-86 and I think that it's a very good calculator.

I downloaded the 68K Flash SDK, and created a new project. I read the signing technique. I read the exit technique. However, I couldn't see where one ended and the other started. Where do I put the main function on C Flash template?
