Krolypto v1.0 Released
Posted by Joey on 21 March 2003, 06:47 GMT
Michael Vincent has released Krolypto v1.0 for the 83+. It is a 256-bit encryption engine for protecting sensitive information, or notes that you want to pass to friends. There are several security features implemented to make certain that your message cannot be cracked by brute force. Several passwords are required, and guessing the password incorrectly causes the message to be destroyed. Read the included readme file for more information.

Hmm... Krolypto looks like an interesting program, but aside from password protection, why would you need to use it? BTW, is it true that MV will delete your post if you criticize his program?

Krolypto is okay, but it uses key hooks and that sort of thing that interfere withe Omnicalc, MirageOS, etc.
Great if you want to sell programs, but I don't think it has that much use for a BASIC programmer like myself. However, try it out!
