Edit3D v0.96 Released
Posted by Michael on 18 March 2003, 04:18 GMT

David Coz has updated an excellent and long-overlooked program, Edit3D. Available for the 89, 92+, and Voyage 200, it is a full-featured graphics editing package. People with artistic skills (news editor excluded) can draw intricate 3-D designs in both wire-frame and solid modes. There is also texture support and the ever-impressive real time rotation.

Update (Joey): /asm/graphics/edit3d folders have been added for the 89, 92+, and V200. However, they will be kept out of ranking.

If you make any sexy pictures, be sure to waste the filearchivers' time by uploading them and making them delete them (<swoon>too many pronouns</swoon>).

Hey, we are working hard for you guys, and yes files sometimes slip through. I am working on this. Luckily someone always reports the file within a few days of its release.

Congrats to David Coz. Thank you for providing an application to the extremely small collection of TI-89 Flash Apps. Keep up the good work :)

BTW, who saw George W. Bush's address to the nation? For those of you who did not, basically, Bush is about to declare war on Iraq unless Saddam Hussein and his children leave Iraq in 48 hours. It's about time he was overthrown >:-)

I highly suggest this progam, and many other programs that David Coz has made. Lately I have been speaking with him through e-mails and he seems to be a very loyal member of the community that is always producing awesome programs. I also suggest you guys take a look at his recently updated and additon to the 92+ and v200, Grand Turismo v0.55. It is another very good example of the quality of programs that he is capable of producing.

Way to go David! Keep up the good work.

Any possibility of a port to 83+?
(It's worth asking, but I know that the answer is going to be a big fat NO)

it is possible, I think. There is already a 3d lib in development for the 83 here: http://yhean.fr.st

too bad our screen is so awful... and why does the 83+SE cost more than an 89? the 89 is by far superior in all ways.

It doesn't...I don't think.
In America, the TI-83+ SE costs $129.99, and the TI-89 costs $149.99. It may be different in Canada, though.

All I know is I got my 83+ for $70.00 @ Office Max (new), and I'm trying to get an 89 off E-bay for less than $70.00. All of the college kids will be selling theirs soon, so I'll get one of those

The guy befor me is correct, but if it was it would probably be because the SE is newer, it was produced after the 89 was ( TI-83+ was made after the 89 was, as well ).

Too bad you can't get everything that percentage of the original price. Anyway, The program rocks and is fun to use with Space Dementia.

I am working on a 3D drawing program at http://www.ticalc.org/archives/ files/fileinfo/269/26954.html (TI-83+) or http://www.ticalc.org/archives/ files/fileinfo/274/27490.html (TI-83). So far it only does wireframe, but I'm working on solids.

Why don't you port yourself to a big fat 89? Them you wouldn't have to ask for ports. But don't sell you 83+ until I get my 83+ Emulator 89 going. ;)

Too expensive :(
Plus, I've never seen one in the shops (in fact, all I've ever seen is the 83+ and an 82 (once, in a French shop)
