TI-Chess v4.00 released
Posted by Niklas on 11 November 2002, 16:31 GMT
TICT have released TI-Chess v4.00 for the TI-89, TI-92+ and V200. The most important improvements are: - Multilanguage support (english/french/german/spanish).
- Opening book support: now the engine can randomly choose openings from a book if wanted.
- Training feature rewritten: now chess puzzles may come with an intregrated solution.
- Chess puzzle compiler completely rewritten: making own chess puzzles files is much easier now.
- Opening book compiler added: you can make your own opening books if wanted.
The first volume of TI-Chess puzzles has also been released (TI-89, TI-92+, V200) and if that's not enough, you can also get 2014 opening lines (TI-89, TI-92+, V200). TICT keeps updating their other programs, too: there is a new version of the TICT-Explorer, also for the TI-89, TI-92+ and V200.

OMG, I'm going to recant... Who could have seen this day...
Alright Kerm, I owe you a few apologizy, so here they are:
You are not the fakes, looking over how they write stuff and do stuff, they don't do it like you normally do, so I don't think they are you.
As to the TICI hub, I don't know if it works, I don't think I ever called the schematics fake, but if I did, sorry.
As to the mouse, It is still I stupid Idea, but I shouldn't have blown up at you...
As to the post on page 8 where someone told us to suck your cock, since that was a fake, sorry.
Since I don't know assembly, or just how hard it is, take your time on DoorsXP, but give us some sort of proof that it exist, a very early alpha, or some screenshots, anything, and if you prove it works in any way, I will appologize for all that crap too.
Now, as to what I don't appologize for:
Being pissed that you plugged DoorsXP for some Fucking long, and you still don't have anything to show for it.
Calling the mouse stupid as piss, it is a stupid idea, the hub isn't, but the mouse is.
Okay, thats it, I think a few other people owe some appologies also, but I'm not gonna name them, they know who they are.
I also think you owe everyone and apology, for talking about XP so much, when it isn't anywhere near completion.
Who ever is responsible for any fakes, confess now, and everyone will forgive you, and NEVER DO IT AGAIN! That is one of the pussiest things to do.

Well, first a similar schematic has existed for over a year at Radical Software and psikan.com. That's not a hub, that is nothing but an adapter. Hubs are used to route information from multiple devices through others. Second, you are providing 4.5 volts. That may work with a 5 volt device, but to ensure 100% compatibility with all keyboards, you should be using 5 volts. You can get a +5 VDC voltage regulator from RadioShack. Secondly, it's still a built-it-yourself project, that isn't miniaturized nor professionally encased. However, your design looks very nice. What I was talking about would be something a bit smaller, with a rounded case and all the "professional trimmings", to the point where it would sell to people. Obviously a schematic is fine for hobbyists, but it will never get anywhere unless the average user can cheaply obtain a device that is reliable and compact.
