Thomas Williamson releases King of the Fighters 2
Posted by Niklas on 2 August 2002, 18:00 GMT
Thomas Williamson has released King of the Fighters 2 for the TI-86, featuring AI, special moves for each character, a tournament mode, 17 characters, linkplay, and the ability to fight more than one enemy at once. BTW, pending is now practically down to zero again (in other words, this filearchivers vacation is over). So it should be a while before releases become this delayed again. Update (Nick B.): Cullen Sauls (author of Mega Man 86) has brought us yet another good TI-86 program, Jigsaw 86, which features a robust interface that easily enables one to create, load, or solve puzzles on your calculator. You can also create puzzles on your computer.

Did anyone open up rounds/damage in options, outnumbered mode, or more than 8 characters on the 86 yet???
I beated the game over 20 times in fast/normal mode (about 2-3 times with each of the 8 chars), but i still didn't open up any of those things...The game only opened up 4 new chars after beating it once.
Beating the game several times in fast/easy, normal/easy, and normal/normal didn't open up anything either...
By the way, you can beat every opponent easily by keeping the enemey close to any of the two walls and spam the alpha key while holding onto the up key. This method works when you use billy lee, leonardo, contraman, yugi, ryu, mario, and kirby. You need to use
the special attack with the swords a lot for cecil because the kicks/punches in the air suck...

Hereby I would like to grab the opportunity to beg the ticalc staff to remove the media folders. Quality productions get lost in the ocean of "assembly images". *sigh*

I like how they finally got the pending down ...
Just wondering, didn't Thomas Williamson already release King of Fighters 2000 for the 86? So wouldn't that make this more of an update? I don't know ... maybe it was something else ...
