Niklas returns from void, pending hits low

Anobody notice that there have been an unusual amount of files added to our archives lately? Nah, didn't think so...

Anyways, for those who did notice, you can thank Niklas for a lot of this. Niklas has returned from the void of being a retired staff member, and is now helping us keep up with the archives. Hopefully, being one more person on this will help us keep an acceptable level of the pending queue. We will also start working on the large backlog of mail to filearchive@ticalc.org over the next couple of days.

Unfortunatly, we also have to report that due to a versioning error, we have lost several uploaded files. Files uploaded before the Feb 22 but after Feb 11 may have been lost. If you uploaded a file during this period and it has not made it into the archives, please re-upload your file. If the upload script says the file is already in the archives, then it's just in pending and will be processed. If not, it was lost, and the re-uploaded version will be processed.

holy shaving cream!

The pending file thing whatever it is called is at moderate, not heavy! Wow! Now I can get all my files in safely! YAY! :)

I don't think anyone worships shaving cream until you realize how useful it is. Imagine shaving with a razor without shaving cream, cutting yourself here and there and irritating your skin...

0 is not a perfect number. It is divisible by all numbers, so the sum of its integer factors is not zero, but rather (infinity squared plus infinity)/2. You might be able to count 1 as a perfect number, but in adding up the factors, the number itself is not included. Cases in point: 6=1+2+3 and 28=1+2+4+7+14. Six and twenty-eight are not mentioned as one of their own factors, so why should 1 be?
When it all comes down to it, 6 is the first perfect number.
