My assembly program won't work!!!!!!!!

I'm starting to learn assembly (for the 82) and my prog won't work. It's just a snake-type game.

Yeah, I know. When I first started learning assembly, I gave up after the first 15 minutes after looking at the tutorials. About a month later, I got back to it, and started to get the hang of it.

Just keep working on it. After a while, everything will kind of "click"...

Yeah, you're right. A year ago, I tried to learn assembly. I didn't get any of it. Now I understand it enough to read a program and understand what it does, but I always mess up in my programs. Like yesterday, I mostly fixed the snake game, except the controls are acting funny.

Where are the "tutorials" you used?

There is a great tutorial for 83 asm in the archive... AsmGuru or something.

I have an 83+, but what I learned from that was good.

The best way to learn a computer language is to look at code. Download some asm games with the code included and pick them apart, recompile them, change stuff around. That's the way I learned best...

Any idea where I could find stuff for 89 ASM?
