New TI Sweepstakes
Posted by Eric on 10 May 2001, 07:36 GMT
Continuing its recent unprecedented trend of offering prizes galore, TI has announced a new "Wanna Win a Car?" Sweepstakes. This seems to be the latest in TI's efforts to publicize their new website (There, we linked to it. That should be enough publicizing :). Anyway, if their intentions aren't clear enough, the potential prizes should be: they've got camcorders, backpacks, walkmans, T-shirts...and oh yeah, a 2001 Ford Mustang. Check it out if you're interested.

Jap Crap Rice Burners

oh don't even knock a mustang. i own 5. i take them to the strip on a regular basis and i have never lost once to a jap crap rice burner. i have an '89 gt running a paxton supercharger. a '92 lx running NOS and a paxton. '98 cobra, daily driver, some mods. a '71 mach one, stock engine. and an '85 with a 347 stoker, paxton, NOS, plus other gofast goodies. all have hooker headers, bassini x pipes, and flowmaster 2-chamber cat-backs. the '85, '89, and '92 have a complete suspension and drive train set up for racing. the '85 has around 900hp and runs low 8's, high 7's. all the cars are still streat legal, even in california.
anyway, i wouldn't want to win the mustang from ti because it will be a shitty v6 with no options. i'd take the money spend it on one of my cars.
and just to show you that i am not a complete ford freak (FORD: Fucker Only Runs Downhill), i also own a '99 dodge ram with the v10 viper engine. it halls ass. it will beat your jap crap.

Sorry, man, I love these trucks, too,
but the block is not the same. Yours is iron, there's is aluminum. As I'm sure you already know, the heads and induction are different. In addition, if you ever go to get a performance cam ground for your truck, you'll see that the two engines use entirely different cam cores. This follows through for pretty much every other piece in the short block. Much of the exterior equipment on the engine is different, too. I'm not criticizing you, here, but they're related engines, but not the same.
