TICT No Longer Active
Posted by Nathan on 21 April 2001, 07:49 GMT

In a shocking and saddening update, Thomas Nussbaumer announced that he will no longer have time to work on projects for the TI-89 and TI-92 Plus, and that TICT is no longer active. Citing as his reason for quitting "an opportunity which will change my life completely (in the positive way!)," he wishes everyone the best.

The programmer for such immensely popular and compatible projects such as TI-Chess, the eBook Reader, the TIGCC Tools Suite, tutorials, and many other programs, Tom will be sorely missed, and we here at ticalc.org wish him all the best as he embarks on a new opportunity.

Tom I'm sad to hear you're leaving but I wish you the very best in your life endeavors! I myself use your TICT Explorer because it works much better for 89s with AMS 2.05. I have never had any problems with it at all. I also have the chess game that you worked on and it as well has no flaws what so ever. Thanks so much for your hard work and again I wish you only the best!

I'd like to thank Tom for all the hope he's given to fledgeling C programmers. If it weren't for him, I'd still be stuck in a rut and my MLib C library would never have been released. Now I'm working on the new, improved version 2.0 ... using bits of codes he helped me with through e-mail.

A 21 e-gun salute to you, Mr. Nussbaumer. Good luck in whatever life may bring you.
