FAT-Engine SDK Released
Posted by Eric on 4 March 2001, 22:00 GMT
Calling all programmers...Thomas Nussbaumer is trying to make it easy for you! He's now released an SDK (download for the TI-89 and TI-92+) for his recently-released FAT-Engine that contains extra documentation and source code that'll help users integrate the FAT library in their own programs. So...perhaps somebody should go use it now :).

I know this is off the subject, but i would like to know how you make animated screenshots from your calc to comp. BTW, i am also considering making a Doom Clone with this SDK. I would like feedback on my idea plus anyone who wants to help. For information, visit my link above and post in the forum and i'll reply A.S.A.P. And if you know how to make those screenshots.....plz reply here or in my forum.
Thanx,
T.Woodruff

*Stands in awe of the raycaster yet again.* Then I realized I only own a ti-83+. Oh well. Wait a minute, I can get a hold of a ti-92! Then I could see what this engine is really made of! Now if only I could learn 92 ASM... *Turns in shame.* Well, anyways, keep up the good work, I'm still leary about using the engine for an RPG, but hey if you can do it, go for it. Also, if anyone can do a similar engine for the 83+, I'm sure it would be very well recieved, and maybe even improved.
