New Muchembled Releases
Posted by Eric on 29 January 2001, 00:05 GMT
Julien Muchembled has released new versions of his programs MaxMem v2.20 (for the TI-89 and TI-92+), TIB Receiver v1.10 (for the TI-89 and TI-92+), and HW2Patch v2.30 (for the TI-89 and TI-92+ again). These new versions are updated to work with AMS 2.05, and judging by the response on IRC and such, they look to be pretty nice. On a side note, longtime ticalc.org users will note that file archive updates have recently been a bit lacking. If you've recently submitted a program and it hasn't appeared yet, no need to worry. Please keep the submissions coming; we might be a bit behind now but we're still alive and well, and plan to get back on our feet quickly. Thanks for the patience.

OK, How is everybody doing, most of you guy/gal need to have your programs up, right? But whay, for popularity, I am happy with what I have, I may be as rich as Bill Gates but I I am glad for what I have, A billion dollars wont make me happy because I don't need it to be happy. Do some of you agree ot this quote. What I am trying to say is that....I will not surrander because sometimes you must put up an ad(plug) to help yourself, One day when you people work for a company you will know how it feels and what to do, to becomes a sucesser you must sacrifice alot to achieve what you want, and for all those people who has a best friend that you think will work with you injobs and school forever, well... I don't know what to say but this: At the end of the map the knife appeares. In business there is no substitude for victory.

And just to clarify something, what you keep posting is not an advertisement or plug. Advertisements imply that you paid for them, but you did not, and at one or two they were plugs, but now it's mass unsolicited comments that violate all of the ticalc.org guidelines, are offtopic, obscure the discussion board with their format, and bug people. That sounds pretty close to spam to me. Keep it ontopic. If there's a news article about a stupid new programming group that spams message boards and gives 404 errors, you can post about olympia there, but don't do it here.

Program Submiting Delay Idea

Hmm... I have an idea that may help with the archive thing. What does everyone think about having the submit queue be open where everyone can look at it? That way, if anyone gets impatient waiting for something to be posted to the main archive, they can get in there and look for it.
