  TI-News and several other sites are reporting the tragic death of WORMHOLE, a programmer who was well known for his research into flash protection on the 68k calcs, passed away in a car crash on August 26th. You can see the "official" pronouncement on his web page. He will be missed.

I really admired this guy with all he had done.  My condolences to his family and friends.
 This almost sounds like a conspiracy by TI...

On the french TI forum, Wormhole's best friend told us that the "official pronouncement" was put on the site by Wormhole himself. So, it was a hoax. Wormhole was alive. Now, the same person is telling that he actually died AFTER that.
I hope this person is going to announce that herself right here.

Sad very sad.  I've never tried any of his programs, I don't even own a 68k calc.  But I know he was a valued member of this community.  I think it would have been nice if ticalc made a page in memory of him or to have at least kept his account preserved.  You will be missed greatly Wormhole...
