Patrick Releases Phoenix v6.0
Posted by Nick on 19 May 2000, 02:36 GMT

The delicious Patrick Davidson has released Phoenix v6.0. This was in the "experimental" phase for a few days but now it's in the form of a final release. *MANY* bug fixes and cosmetic game changes come in this version, so you'll definitely want to download it for your respective calculator. Good work on Patrick's part for clearing up all the bugs and such. I don't even notice any of them when I play, so it just looks like an already-good thing has been made better. Download Phoenix v6.0 for the 89, the 92, and the 92 Plus.

All that I want to know is why Patrick is "delicious" and if he isn't, why this so-called Nick fellow (heh) thinks he is...?

Just take a look above... here, I'll post what was the response to that question earlier...

"Adding the word 'delicious' to modify a noun in any way makes it much (MUCH) better.

Hence, if you are 'delicious,' it's a very good thing.
And if you say it dragging out the 'ish' in 'delicious,' it sounds even funnier."

Well, this explains a lot, I always wondered how you got a news item up ; TiCalc.Org appears to be a den of sexual iniquity.

However, I feel this is somewhat unfair, as living in the UK I have no opportunities to press my case (or whatever else needs to be pressed) for any of my programs.

what you gotta press is your genitalia up against Nick's window ;)

I thought it was kinda salty, but I guess it depends on your tastes.

I *did* fly to the UK once.
Once.

At any rate, I don't think that I'd give out news items for sexual favors in the near future.
Well.. maybe for fake news. Or something.

Why do you ask? :)

No, it's a den full of teenage young men with no social life... One and the same...

No! Not one and the same! Just because we don't have social lives doen't mean we're gay, does it?

Is Bill Gates gay?

Do you breathe? Hmm. "Is Bill Gates Gay?" Let's just think about that one for a minute....

Now, it would be even scarier if Nick would refer to Bill Gates as "delicious". Then we would know for sure he's got problem.

Bill Gates has a wife. And, unless you are thinking about something really *wrong* here, that should mean that he's not gay (at least in my opinion).

Anyways, I think Nick probably hates Bill just as much as all the others do. Nothing to worry about in that case.

Hey! I live in the UK, and did get a news item once. I think - a long time ago now.
And as for the sexual favours - unless it was when Nick was over here, I've never been nearer than 2000 miles from him. I hope ;)

I wonder what Patrick is going to say to that if he reads about Nick's attitude towards him. ;)

...And it's not without its irony that Patrick hasn't even talked to me about this.

But he probably knows I'm kidding, and that I didn't even intend it to come out like that =P

PS: Yes, I'm straight. Please don't email me asking again.
