Lotus Turbo Challenge, Teos v1.02, Bomberman 89

Uh... go Wildcats. Or something. With that in mind, I have an obligation to give my mad props to what we in the TI calculator biz would call "God's God": Rusty Wagner has ported the notoriously amazing racing game Lotus Turbo Challenge to the 86. Great work. No visible differences from the original. The original author, Badja, has his home page here. Jonah Cohen pestered me after TI Extended Operating System (Teos) v1.02 came out, so here I am. Bugfixes and added hardware 2.00/1.00 support comes with this version. This looks like it has a great deal of potential, so keep an eye on it. Paul Boswell (email address? anyone?) and Elliot Olney have released a clone of Bomberman for the 89. I know this is my third Bomberman reference in just over a week, but hey - it's BOMBERMAN! :)

With the new release of TEOS (1.02) I am finally able to get Bomberboy 89 working on my calculator. But to my dissappointment Bomberboy doesn't stand a chance against BigDyna. It's way too slow even with the occasional speed up with the shoes. Okay now that i've got that out the way. Has anyone notice that the userlib supplied with TEOS 1.02 doesn't work with the doors' shell explorere passsword utility. When I press home, while in the shell, the calc turn off as it should, but when I turn it back on, instead of the usual screen asking for the password, it just return to the shell. So use the userlib that's supply with door's II 0.96 instead. One more thing, you know how when you try to change from the default password to something else, somehow the password is always reset to "doors" and it seems like the password was never change. One way to get around that is to first unarchive userlib, goto the shell, change the password, then archive userlib again. This way your new password will be save, instead of having it reset to doors every time. I am sure that any idiot could figure this out, but it bug me for a while. I just want everyone to be aware of it.

you can try this new bomberman clone.
no, wait! it won't work with Ams2.03.... it has a contrast problem(I couldn't play it even turning the contrast down...).
You've got your problems with Teos. I've got my problems (Crashes , "address error"s , unfreed memory(yes! system=80000 bytes!) , etc etc etc . I know that I make my calc cry , I have a lot of assembly programs in archive/ram and I'm not very patient , But I installed Teos , I sent all the libs ...
Under DoorsOs everything works. Maybe the main problem is the explorer(Doors) , And trying Prosit wasn't a good idea . Maybe I will give Teos a try again...

I think ticalc is becoming bad... This is the nth news, which is taken on tifr, without quoting it !
TI-FR is the first who posted this news so it must be written...

when tifr posted the news , they gave credit to Graphiti , and Ticalc posted the same news many hours after tifr/graphiti . So , He suposed that ticalc took news from tifr , and he complained because ticalc did not give any credit to anybody . Maybe because it's not necessary .But this is not a mayor news station.
Maybe you're right anyway... but if tifr gave credit to graphiti , why ticalc wouldn't do so ? that's because is not the style of ticalc , and maybe they're a mayor news web page . maybe tifr received the news from graphity -so , they gave credit to them- , as ticalc received the notification of the usb ti cable and gave credit to the one who sent the new. You can analyze as you wish...! iufff.
