Happy April Fool's Day!
Posted by Nick on 2 April 2000, 03:25 GMT
Many people have, er, "questioned" what happened to us yesterday. Apparently, even despite the fact that we've been made notorious for our April Fool's pranks, people were still thinking we were h4x0r3d, that Steve took over and bombed the TI-Files, and that our newsletter, through some crazy fluke, was translated into fifteen zillion different languages. Nothing of that sort happened; in fact, no coup d'etats were staged, and ticalc.org is going on with its business as usual. Just another moment of frivolity brought to you by the staff :) Oh, and for the dryest, blandest newsletter (in ENGLISH!) in which I interview myself and make a bunch of references to people, places and things that you won't understand, click here. Updated (Nick): The person who hacked our site has sent us a screenshot of how they did it.

Hey this is funny - partway through the interview with Nick in the newsletter, Nick and Eric switch sides, and suddenly Nick's asking the questions.
Actually it's probably a mistake - but it's better this way... ;-)
