TI-89/92+/V200 POTY voting opens
Posted by Travis on 25 December 2017, 17:24 GMT

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! It is now the week for Program of the Year voting in the TI-89/TI-92 Plus/Voyage 200 category. 68K development came back to life this year with a couple of new programs, alongside many past ones that never originally received proper recognition.

Sign in, find the survey box down the right side of the front page, and vote for your favorite program!

After this week, there is still one final voting category left: Nspire programs. Because of the number of categories this year, final POTY voting will run a bit later than usual, ending January 7. Afterward, the POTY contest results will be posted as soon as we have had a chance to prepare them.

Fun fact: I barely noticed I was about to post with the headline “TI-89/92+/V200 Plus CE POTY voting opens”.

*sigh* Sadly, there is no V200 Plus CE. Would be cool, though.

Hey Patrick :)
Long time no see.

AFAICS, there's no binary of CF on ticalc.org (or it's not linked under your account, unlike the source code), though CF could arguably be featured, and some of your other programs are only available in outdated versions - like the TICT programs, anyway, and it's my fault :)
You could upload the newest versions of e.g. PreOS and PedroM, in addition to the current versions.

Hi Lionel,
I have uploaded the latest version of PreOS (not really needed as the bug fixes were only for developers), PedroM (huge update with the CAS) and an updated version of the beta of CF (which shall fixes some issues).
It's your turn to update TICT programs ;)

Great to see binaries of CF on ticalc.org, as well as updated versions of PreOS and PedroM ;)

I've just added CF to an internal list of feature-worthy files.

If I upload newer versions of the TICT files, especially TI-Chess, my displayed author stats will immediately jump well over 1M downloads.
This isn't really deserved: Thomas did the bulk of the work on the TICT programs, like Romain built the framework which powers libti*/gfm/tilp before I became their maintainer more than 8 years ago (and significantly modified the code, but without changing the pre-existing architecture) :)
