A Summer of Calculators

Some of you may be familiar with the Google Summer of Code project. Sponsored by Google, the Summer of Code provides a $4,500 stipend to students 18 years or older who work on an open source project. Students work under the guidance of a mentoring organization. For the 2006 Summer of Code, Detached Solutions has applied and been chosen as a mentoring organization. Interested students can visit the Summer of Code page. This is a nice way to spend your summer programming calculators and get paid for it.
