Happy New Year with the ticalc.org Newsletter
Posted by Michael on 1 January 2006, 00:12 GMT
The November/December 2005 ticalc.org newsletter is now released. Our once-pitiful news editor Jon is finally on the road to redemption with this issue, which was (barely) published on time.
For those of you who are not yet subscribed to the ticalc.org newsletter, you can join the ranks of the educated masses by following the instructions on our mailing lists page. We also wish you a prosperous and calculator-filled New Year (but only if you're subscribed, of course)!

Great newsletter! Kevin Kofler is a great pick for the interview, since he always seems like such an intelligent and motivated guy. And I must say I was surprised to learn that Kevin and I have the same birthday, except that he was born 4 years previous.
Also, the question you asked about how Kevin likes ticalc.org made me think about the one big missing piece for me from this site. It does not seem to be for developers. There is not a real forum that could be used to discuss projects, except those massive and impossible to navigate threads at the top. And also, there is no method to post news about interesting up-and coming projects that are not complete as of yet. I wish there were a section for betas and demos and that news articles could go up showing someone's work and progress and encouraging support for the developers. That's just me thinking though.
Happy New Year!
