TiLP v6.75 Released
Posted by Michael on 21 September 2004, 13:47 GMT
Romain Liévin has released a new version of his linking software TiLP for Linux and Windows. Version 6.75 adds 84 Plus and 89 Titanium support and a 89 Titanium/V200 ROM dumper. The direct USB links on the 84+ and 89 Titanium are not yet supported, however. Those calculators can connect through any of the standard cables. Be sure to try out this great program, especially if you've been using TI Connect.

TiLP really seems cool but since education.ti.com doesn't allow people from belgium on their site (at least, not to download) and I can't get a proper version of ti graph link for ti83+ and windows XP
But how the hell do you install Tilp?
You need GTK+ 2.0 (which I can't find for windows XP)
And when I do try TiLP I get the message:
Deze toepassing kan niet worden gestart omdat liglib-2.0-0 niet kan worden gevonden. Het opniew opstarten van deze toepassing kan dit probleem oplossen.
translated: Can't start this application because liglib-2.0-0.dll can't be found. Re-installing of this application may solve this problem.

I think that TiLP is a great program for linking to calcs with a parallel link, however, it doesn't work on my newer computer. It works fine on my old Win98 Compaq machine but gives me port errors with WinXP on my new HP. I know that XP has some sort of block on the ports but I have installed PortTalk to override it but still can't use my parallel link. I also have this problem with TiLEM and VTi.
