CalcRogue for the 89

[CalcRogue] Our illustrious file archiver Joey brought to my attention a program that's been overlooked in our archives for about three weeks: CalcRogue. In the style of NetHack, CalcRogue is a character-based game for the 89. It has quests, dungeons, skills, spells, and all of the other expected elements of such a game. It also has a high rating, thanks to the sixteen people who have rated it (hint hint, review files!).

Am I the only person who found it a little hard to move around on the DOS version? I eventually just gave up. :^(

It does take a while to get used to using the numpad, but the use of diagonals really does help the game enough to justify it. Incidently, IMO, the game plays a good deal better on an actual calculator than in the console.

Hey! This game is fun! Too bad I don't have an 89. Anyone know where I could download an 89 ROM image? Who cares if it's illegal!

From your TI-89. BTW, does anybody else who uses automatic logon have the problem where it looks fine in the cookie but the script interprets it as replacing the last two characters of your username with spaces?

That's weird. I don't use automatic logon (I should), so I wouldn't know. But I should do it... it would save me a lot of time.
