Joey's first encounter with graphing calculators came when he was
assigned a TI-83 for use in a math competition in 7th grade. After
devoting nearly every lunch period for more than a year to programming
with his friend Ryan, Joey decided that he should explore other TI
calculator platforms. Several years have passed since then, but his interest in calculators still thrives.
He is now on his second tour of duty as a ticalc.org file archiver. Joey enjoys occasional ventures into digital
photography, participating in
FIRST Robotics,
and playing old video game emulations. He is majoring in
computer science with a focus on robotics at Carnegie Mellon University.
