Oblivion v1.0 Released
Posted by Michael on 3 January 2004, 17:11 GMT
Malcolm Smith has released Oblivion, a single player action/adventure game using the FAT engine by TICT. In this first-person shooter, you fight on a hostile planet in search of natural resources to save the Earth. There are the usual enemies, plants, animals, power-ups, et cetera. Go, blast yourself into oblivion on a 89/92+/V200.

Thanks for the article.
Oblivion has been in beta testing since August, so hopefully all of the bugs are gone now. If you find any problems, please email me, or post in my forum.

Any other 89s turn off during transfer of oblvall2 and fatlib with serial link? Perhaps I should dig up my USB link...

Just a note, the oblvtext file in the binary directories is unnecessary, that file is also installed by OblvInst. You don't need to send the separate OblvText.
I'll probably upload a new version with it removed.

Well, you've heard me say this to you already since I helped with the testing, but I'll say it again, you made a really great game and have definately outdone yourself this time.
