SOS v1.6 released
Posted on 25 October 1998, 07:34 GMT

Joe Wingbermuehle has released SOS v1.6 for the TI-83. This version comes with a new and improved interface, optimizations (now only 775 bytes, 697 bytes needed to run), modified way of running BASIC programs, and the ability to rename prgmA to whatever you want. Joe also released SOS Keys v1.6 and Diamonds v1.9 for SOS as well.

This is kind of off-topic from the TI-Files, but it does have something to do with 83 ASM. The external level support is now fully functional in Plain Jump 83. If you would like to beta test, send me an email. PJ 83 v1.1 will be released on Friday/Saturday for the Icarus Productions weekly update.

I'd at least like small arrows that tell when there is more than 1 page. I'd also like multiple buttons to exit the shell. (ie, mode, clear, del...)
It appears that the auto-graph-when-exit bug was fixed...

since we are off topic anyway... has anyone here actualy built and used (succesfully) a 25 pin paralell link cable and if so with what software?

Yes!
I have built it and it works on computers with
paralell card. You can check that on Control Panel
/Ports. If LPT is not on the list you must build
serial cable (if you have COM on list). Both works
perfect with CAL091b and some other software.

Censorship
Justin

I'm going to try to keep this intelligent. I normally don't even participate in this sort of message board thing. What is up with all of the comments about what happened to the Ti-Files being removed? I know there were some very, very stupid comments posted, but there were also some intelligent and informative comments about what went down. Those were the closest thing to news given on this site. Is this censorship? Why hasn't ticalc.org given any news on this itself?
Why were all of the comments pertaining to that matter deleted? Why haven't those accused defended themselves, accepted responsibility, or at least denied any wrongdoing? Obviously people care about this topic. Just a few hours ago I visited and there were about 60 comments. As I write this there are only 24. I'm not ragging on you... Just curious... and concerned.

Those comments were deleted because they were very off-topic.
