Maze-3D v0.4 Beta Released
Posted on 20 September 1998, 23:54 GMT

[Maze-3D Screenshot]
After months of development and beta testing, CLEM has finally released Maze-3D v0.4 Beta for the TI-86. This is a 3D raycasting game similar to Daedalus for the TI-85. There are no enemies in this version, however the gameplay is fast even with grayscale. Also included is a lite version (438 bytes smaller) that is black & white instead of grayscale. Both versions feature three different screen sizes, so the game runs faster if you are willing to sacrifice screen size. If you own a TI-86, this is a must download! (Note: the screnshot displayed is of a pervious version of Maze-3D, however it looks almost the same as version 0.4 Beta.)

Maze-3D ONLINE !
M.B.

Hello everybody !

Has anybody else the idea to make TI-games for online playing possibel ? There is a internet link tool for the TI-83 aviabel and we have tons of multiplayer games for the TI-8X/92. Why not link you up with ie. 3 other guys and make a little deathmatch ? That would kick ass with Maze 3D ! Ok, it isn't very useful but who cares ?

- Just an idea -

Now lets not get carried away.... these are just little 6 MHz calculators. An internet connection would most likely be slow as well as the gameplay even for a calc. Try duke nukem on the computer online, or N64 007 Goldeneye for serious multiplayer action.

Great game, best graphics i've ever seen, but it gets boring just walking around.
TIP: If you want to find the exit, hug the left wall the whole level, and eventually you'll get to the end.

I think that this is the best 3-d game for the 86 i've seen but on this one and all the others the actual screen size of the game is very small why? And if its possible to make it full size it would kick ass
