This will basically be a gameshark-type program for the TI-83. It will set up an interrupt to constantly store to a memory address. For instance:
highscore:
.db 234
An interrupt program, while the game is playing, would store something like '999' to that memory address. It would then disable the interrupt when the game finished. It is just a thought, and when I learn more about interrupts, I will begin to make it.

I have a program in mind (ASM) that would allow you to send programs and maybe other types of data to other calculators. If you assigned a hex number to every character (a-z, A-Z, 0-9, + , -, *, /, and greek symbols) on the calculator, then transformed a program imto this hex code, sent it over a link onto another's calculator, and had his program identical to mine (made for the type of calculator he or she has) translate the code back into charcters and pasted it into a program of the same name as the original program. It would be done this way rather than translating a program into another calcs way of reading it so that I wouldn't have to make 42 different programs, only 7. I just need help as I am not affluent in Z80 ASM, and can't even contemplate 68000 ASM. I do not expect to be able to run 86 programs on an 83, just so that I can make 83 programs for friends and use my 86 to pass them on.

A basic program designed to be the frame of an RPG. A generic intro provides the primary feature. Well configurable and expandable external programs define all the strings and stuff. If it gets working it will be cool... Since I am working on TekWars(See TI-83 Games) I won't have much time right away to work on it, but in about a month it should start going along better.

G-Tabber Final Version

Hey everyone.
I'm working on the complete version of a program called G-Tabber (short for Guitar Tabber) that writes tablature and is able to save it on your calc.
You can check out the current BETA version in the TI-83 BASIC Misc. Programs section.
I plan on adding multiple features to the final version, such as special actions (slide, hammer-on, pull-off, etc.) as well as changing the tuning and the editing of previously saved tabs.
Is anyone interested?

Internet for the TI-83 & TI-83+???

Yes it is true. I am designning a program (under basic because i don't know assembly yet) that will act like the internet. It will have chat, c-mail (calculator mail), some webpages, and possibly a page that will help you make your own pages. It is currently in the works now, but should be done and on TI-CALC.ORG by hopefully anytime in April. If you have any ideas or could help me in ASM please email at greendayfan87@yahoo.com. I also am working on a version of Drugwars that is just about done and should be on the site soon.

Mem Adder v2.0???

I am really trying to fix the major bugs in Mem Adder v1.0 because of the variable problems I had in the first version. I will try to fix all of the bugs by July and it should be on ticalc.org by late June. This is a difficult program because I am working with the TI-83's RAM and that is a problem because of all of the errors you can get and the possiblity of your calculator crashing. However; even though there are bugs in v1.0; it is stable and will NOT crash your calc.
Sincerely,
TI83 Maniac

I am working on a succesor to my TI-83 Phone Book called SOLID. (It doesn't stand for anything--I chose this name because it's absolutely nothing like VAPOR.) SOLID will feature several enhancements to TI-83 Phone Book:
* Entries can store names with up to 32 characters instead of Phone Book's 16. SOLID will come with a program that converts Phone Book's 26-byte entries to its own 42-byte format.
* SOLID phone book entries can be edited and deleted.
* There will be a memo feature that will let you record homework assignments, or appointments, or pretty much anything with text.
* SOLID features a monthly calendar display that can show any month. (I would like information on how to use the small font from the graph screen so I can improve the display.)
* SOLID includes an English/metric converter.
I plan to release SOLID by May 20. It will be written in basic but I will make an asm version if there is enough interest.
btw, VAPOR is useless. Don't bother downloading it.

Advanced Operating System (AOS) in BASIC

I am working on software called AOS, which is a graphical OS written all in BASIC. It will be a huge advancement in BASIC OS programming and like no other OS you have ever seen. I am working on virtual multitasking so you can run programs while in the OS (kinda works right now). Look for it out in a few months.
Also, when i finish AOS, i am going to make VIRTUAL TI INTERNET! I am going to try and make mini "webpages" that can be viewed in browser type software. Updated pages to add to your browser can be added and be traded thru TI Link! Any ideas or want to help, email cipher@linuxmail.org

I am creating a new program that will bring the power of e-mail and the internet into a calculator.
I am creating a miniature modem that is an add-on to a calculator.
If you cannot afford the $150.00 price for the tiny modem, then you can access the internet in a different way.
Just plug in your link cable to your computer and calc. and download the days news and weather. Download e-mail to your calc for viewing during class.
I need help writing C++ coding, for data transfer though. Most will be written in VB for the PC.

A revolutionary OS for the TI-83/83+. It is a mix of basic and asm. Most will be written in ASM (for networking purposes and for the file manager).

I'm writing an Interrupt Mode 2 program that allows you to protect your calculator using a password on shutdown and when trying to delete files. The program is almost finished, I'll upload it as soon as possible.

GR-Windows

Yes, this is again someone who thinks he can reproduce Windows for TI83. This time the name of it is GR-Windows. The system is still in developement, but fully functional. It can handle scripts with MULTI-TASKING support and a Graphical User Interface (=GUI)! Whoooow. The program is now in BASIC (and runs extremely slow) but will be ported to TI83 ASM very soon.
If you would like to read something about it, or test is, just go to www.grwin.cjb.net and download the latest version.
If the program is ported to ASM, I hope I can implement a virtual screen resolution of 200*200 with 2-bit grayscale support, a mouse-pointer, chat functionalities etc. etc.
I hope it interests anyone. Feel free to comment
