I'm working on a program that will perform polynomial long division, dividing a polynomial up to the 6th degree by a monomial, bimomial, or trinomial. I have had the code in mind for a long time, and would be willing to finish the program if there is sgnificant interest.
However, I would like some beta testers. If you would like to test the functions that divide by monomials and binomials, please let me know. I will release those as a beta version fairly soon, and will finish the trinomial later. If you are interested in testing the program, please email tim-s@techie.com or just let me know here.

I'm currently working on Math Master v2.5, with added features, and possibly more options. Contact me at vetruvet@gmail.com if you have any suggestions for the program

I'm currently working on the factoring for QUADF in MathMaster. It'll come out as MathMaster 3. Also, I'll probably add another program "FACTOR", so it'll be easier to beta-test

I'm new to programming in assembly but i'm going to try it out. I've done basic for a long time on the ti-82 I had but got stolen :(... so now i got a 86... i've looked at a few trig identity programs and well they have some identities well organized.. or a lot non organized... i'm going to try to make this very organized and make sense.. it will be my first program in assembly but for all the C++ i've done i debug and debug and debug more until i have it perfectly how I like it... hope this is not too boring... hehe... I'll either update on here or i'll update on my web page which changes topic constantly :) ... ok i'll shut up now

I am currently in the middle of writing a stats program. This program has been continually added to through the course of my stats class. It has such things as Z-score, hypergeometric, and much, much more.

Apolynom for the 86
n1zdy  Account Info

I'm currently porting over Apolynom from the 83 to the 86. This program does many useful things with polynonmials such as multiply, divide, and find the rational roots. Its a cool program that is useful in chapter 5 of thge Glencoe Algebra 2 book. Without it I wouldn't have passed!
Completed probably around a week or so from today(5/10/00)

Update
n1zdy  Account Info

I'm in the final testing phase. All except two of the functions are possible on the 86. I've also ported over two other programs: Radreduce and polyfactor. They'll be on ticalc soon for all of you polynomial lovers.

the apolynom polynomial program should be available in archives within a few days. It saved me and I'm sure it'll save someone else.
My next prog which should be available soon will be a polynomial factorer. Till next time!

Alf again. I finished this program, and it should be posted up sometime soon. Soon, I'll make version 2.0, which will include the Pythagoream Theorem! I already figured out the formula, so all I have to do is shape it so that it'll solve all pyth situations (a+b=X,a+X=c,a+a=X,X=X=c,et cetera). And if I don't get lazy, I'll probably add a Trigonometric solver, which I have an idea on how to do.

Alf is in Da' House!
OK, I've finished the pyth solver on Mathwhiz. It has one sort of bug, though. I have the answers displayed this way:

"A" "B" "C"

Leg1 Leg2 Hypotenuse

leg1*leg1 "+" Leg2*Leg2 "=" Hypotenuse*Hypotenuse

The only problem is that sometimes one of the legs runs into the hypotenuse, or the hypotenuse is long and keeps running on the next line.
If You have any suggestions, please email me.
I probably won't add a Trigonometric solver until version 3.0. But still, they still haven't posted up version 1.0. I wonder what's taking them so long.
Later Gater,
Bye Guy,
Alf

P.S. I know that sounded really pathetic, he he

Alf here,

I fixed that little bug I was talking about in the previous update. All I had to do was round off the numbers to the thousandth decimal. Here is the syntax:
round(value[,#ofDecimals]).
It works rather well. I also created a square root extractor, which I needed when I was taking Integrated 1 in the 8th grade. Instead of solving the square root with a decimal, it helps you make it so your teacher likes it (he he)
say, instead of square root 50=7.07106781187, it will be something like 5 square root 2. It is very useful, and it also allows you to check up on the mathematics yourself.
Although I have nearly finished version 2.0, Ticalc still hasn't posted 1.0 yet! I'm getting a bit worried.

Back once again it's ALF!

I'm adding and Trig finder. I have the time, and Ticalc.org still hasn't posted up Mathwhiz 1.0. I don't want to sound unfaithful, but Ticalc is getting me pissed off. Sometimes it takes them 2:00 in the morning to post a new freakin' day, and I'm always so excited, expecting Mathwhiz to be posted up, but it never is, and it practically ruins my morning.
So anyways, I started the trig thingy. It'll be pretty nifty.

Alf Alf Alf Alf et cetera

I don't know why, but for some reason I can't connect my Ti-86 to my computer anymore. The hole on my Ti is too wide, I think, and I've broken a wire trying to push it in. I don't know what to do. I accidently erased my rom image, so I'm screwed. I may not come out with v 2.0, I don't even know if I'm doing anything right. This isn't good.

Happy Alf Here!

Yaa! THANK-you TI-calc! Mathwhiz v1.0 has been released! You can find it under Basic Math programs. Also, I retrieved my rom dump, I can check my programming again! I'm so happy! I'm going to release v2.0 real soon, so expect that!

Just plain Alf,

I finished v2.0 of Mathwhiz. Not only does it have all the geometric shapes included in v1.0, but it also has sphere, and a bunch of other stuff like a Pythagoream Theorem Solver, a Trigonometric solver, and a Square Root Extractor! It should be posted sometime soon. I hope it doesn't take as long as v1.0 did. But anyways, if I get any ideas to add on, I probably will and make a v3.0. Heck, I might even make a v3.5!

Alf ya later,
Alf

AlfAlfa,

I'm going to make v3.0, but first I need to know how to make a basic program detect external variables. If you have any idea, please email me a alibaba@hypermedia.ucla.edu. V2.0 is around 7000 of space, and I think alot of people want only the shapes, no pyth, or vice versa, so I'll make each an external variable which they could download. I might even make a tutorial which tells people how to make an external variable for mathwhiz v3.0. I don't know what else mathematical I could add to mathwhiz, so if you have any ideas please email me.
