I work at compusa. I was head of software for 3 months. then i just got promoted to hardware. not only to i make at least $40000 a year but im also on comission, so you know that number is going to be higher.
I use to program for calcs. but now im on to bigger and a lot better things. one day all of you will too. Between my job, my gf, college and last year of high school programming time just isn't there.

Since when is compusa have their employees on commisson? The one here doesn't and as for that kind of money sounds a little too high to me, esp considering I alsmost got a job there at the tech desk. Unless you work an insane amount of hours there.

40 Grand? When I worked at Comp, lower management (Software Manager, Accessories Manager, etc) pay topped out at $10/hr. Not bad for the idiots they hired, but unless you're working 60 hours per week (+school+life?).

A job that when applying you had to fill out a W2 or W4 form so it is legally recognized and taxed. I work at a Postal Annex. (It's like a Kinko's combined with a Mailboxes Etc.) I do desktop publishing with Corel DRAW 9 Suite as well as the regular store tasks. Cool stuff.

Yeah, I have two jobs actually. My first one is at GAP and I'm staying there just for the big-ass discount. My second job (the one I actually enjoy doing) is designing web pages for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rice University. You can check out the one I just finished by clicking on the "Web Page" link above. :)

Uhh, why doesn't a resolution of 1280x1024 work while 1024x768 does?

Because it specifically checks for 1024x768. The site works fine in anything higher, but we want to inform you that it looks best in 1024x768.

keep in mind that standard resolution for many average user are probably less than what you have for your site and not everyone likes Microsoft IE5.5

It really doesn't matter too much because it's only for Rice employees and students and most of the monitors are set 1024x768.
