Wow! I'm the first comment in this discussion! Well, I don't subscribe to the newsletter or even read it. Why would I want to? These calculators are great tools for math, but why the hell would I want to make it a hobby or anything like that?

Yes, I do. I am not subscribed to it but I check ticalc.org for updates often enough so that I see any new newsletters. My email box is cluttered enough as it is. =-)
I like the ticalc.org newsletter. It's usually pretty interesting and if nothing else, it contains an interview with a different person each month. It's also better done than any other TI newsletters that I've seen. In addition, it's more regular.

On an unrelated note: Hays Games Corp returns with more crappy, but possible original games! This is an extreme rarity, releasing *Original* work!
If you like games like 2 player guess, and games that exist only to bash Joe W's SOS shell, head to Hays's site and get ubercrappy *Original* games!
Just think... if he used ARPGCS instead of TI-BASIC his crappy games might be worth downloading...

Offtopic, but this is news post worthy...
I was just at tict.ticalc.org, and TICT will release an explorer that is, quoting from their website (which also has a screenshot)...
-NOSTUB program (runs on any AMS version without any kernel installed
-full C source code release (as usual)
-starts exe-packed programs directly (no launchers necessary)
-support for ebooks
Simply put, TICT RULES!
