Results seem typical for the kind of person who visits this site. I'd say 95% of this site's patrons get B+ average or higher.

I wasn't responsible for introducingmy school, but I introduced my school to the best gems out there. And everyone has atleast one of my games. Every time I see someone's games, they're the exsact same as one I had/have

I didn't own a graphing calculator until mid 98' when I started in Gymnasium. It was a TI-82 since all math-students are adviced to get one. A couple of us guys got some basic games from the older students and typed in some ourselves (boring).
Then I build the home-made parallel link cable and started introducing ASM games galore. Noone had these kind of games before, so I voted "yes" although it wasn't me who introduced the whole concept of gaming on the graphing calculators.
Nowadays I never play games on my calc, not because my classes aren't boring, there simply isn't time to do it. Gymnasium is a mix between High School and college so things can get pretty advanced so you _have_ to pay attention if you want average grades.
I think people in High School will discover this once they start college.

Back when I was a freshman I wrote some BASIC games for the TI-83, stuff like Guess and Horse Racing. Now I am the entire management of TI-8x asm games at my school. I'm a senior now, and word has spread that I am the calculator boy. I wonder how many people charge others to put games on their calcs??? hehe, no one can really stop them cuz they don't know how to stop them...

Like mostly everyone said, I was not *personally* responsible for *introducing* calculator games to my school. I remember finding a calculator in my Algebra class a few years back. All the games sucked, they were like one of the dozens of variations of that cad driving game (or airplane flying, or TIE fighter driving, etc, etc).
Then I sat down one day w/ my 83 manual, determined to learn tibasic. I programmed some little programs. Nearly a year later (almost a year ago), I released the most popular game my 4-year old school has ever seen, the phenomenon known as... Monday. (download it from this site!!!)
To this day, as I work on the sequel, I still have people recognizing me and asking me for the sequel. It's amazing what can happen when you give the game to a handful of people and copy it to a few math department calculators....

In my high school, I programmed games onto almost EVERY calculator that the high school had. As a matter of fact, it got so bad that I was banned from the use of the high school calculators!

I was responsible for introduction of games at my school, simply because no one else knew about graph link cables. After I built mine and had ZTetris and 83Poker on my calc, everyone with a TI wanted in. I was able to get my first experience with several calcs through the method, "Sure I'll give you games. Just let me borrow your calc over the weekend . . ."
