I voted no, though I have come to acquire two calculator holsters apparently originally made by MV. 83+ covers with belt clips on the back, totally awesome.

I found this really cool Orange DS slidecase at a thrift store, so that's what I use. :)

I've got a HW2 89 that has the full treatment - color slide case, sweet red-and-white racing stripes, solder, and a couple extra slide cases. At one time I had them all, but I sold a few to friends.

My 83+ has its original black slide case, a red replacement, the "clear" one from the 83+SE, and a green "TI Student Technologist" slide case.

My v200 is unfortunately unadorned, but it is still awe-inspiring to most; even in college.

The only modification I ever made to my calcs was etching my name on them.

That's a neat idea, though I haven't heard of anyone doing it in ages.

Have you considered re-soldering the link port?

Aren't SPInterfaces for TI-85 and TI-82, and not compatible with the TI-86 because of the case curvature?

What would some of the grip pads missing go under? I have a 84+SE

If it's under warranty, you can email ti-cares and they'll send you a set that won't fit at all.

I just wanted to know if that would go under food residue, or something else. But thanks for the suggestion.

Lets see... The first thing I did to my 89 HW2 is solder a new I/O port because the original one died. I had to mod the case a bit. Then I had to re solder the screen because it stopped working. And now when I get a bit more time I am all set to overclock it. So my 89 has been on the operating table a couple of times.

My TI-84+ has 3 missing grip pads and a lot of worn-off paint on the buttons (my ON button is now an O button :-)

Exactly! These things cost some serious dough- and they're not indestructable. I must admit, I've dropped mine a couple times, but I'm not about to try to open it up just to upgrade. Too much of a risk!

My 84+ has gone threw a lot of wear and tear over the years. A couple of buttons have paint missing, all the grips are gone and most of the buttons have lost there springyness.
