I have a Voyage 200 and a TI-84+SE, and I doubt I'd need anything else. :D Plus the last thing I need to do is spend money I don't have. :/

I already ordered one of the school units from SchoolMart last week. It should be here tomorrow. I already have a TI-84SE, but it is really scratched up and i was going to buy another one, but instead i am getting a Nspire. Hopefully the next OS will have good programming support, and that the 84 emulation supports all supports all asm, basic, and apps.

If I didn't already have an 89 titanium I might consider it, but I really have no need. As for it being hackable, we have our favorite BrandonW workin' on that. ;) As soon as he fixes their gross 84+ emulator. xD

well, ive got one. they did a completition for schools in the UK to create a presentation using the software, and my team appears to have got to the finals and for that we have been sent one (non CAS). and its really really confusing to use. as already mentioned at the moment there are no programming facilities however the website says there will be next year some time.
this really isnt the thing you want to have if you want a powerful calculator. its a teaching tool not a maths device.
from what i can tell (ive had it since this morning) it does no more maths than the TI 83+ i had already however the way it presents it is very very different. its aim is to allow students to understand the maths rather than get the answer to a calculation quickly and easily. for instance jsut to do a calculation you have to create a new document and then a calculations page before you can do any 'math' at all. however i can see it will develope. it has 27meg of memory :) but no way to use it except with these documents. no games, no apps, no progamming. but give it 6 months and im sure it will get better.

Maybe TI ought to just stick a 400 MHz Pentium 2 chip and 10 or 20 meg of SDRAM in a calculator, with an internal writable mini CD for program storage and a port to a full size CD writer for external storage. I wonder if they can power it with AAA batteries though.
