Definitely during the afternoon.... I just don't feel like playing too much in the morning, and at night I have other stuff to do.

And plus, my most boring classes take place in the afternoon ;-)

I don't really use my TI in classes, but I program in the evening.

Same here, but in the morning I'm mostly too tired (playing Mario while half asleep does *not* work well).

All day, every day. Especially when the calc in question is emulated and I'm in a marathon asm programming session.

Well when it's an *emulator" I'll code almost any time of day (early morning before breakfast, afternoon, so late at night my eyes start to close as I'm debugging...).

I know the feeling...the only thing keeping you going is the hope that maybe that last bit of code you changed is the key...so you compile and run again...only to have the emulator tell you: "MEM Cleared"!

Well, I suppose my answer would be morning since that's when I have math class.

I use my TI in the afternoon. I´m too lazy to send new games to my TI.(I´ve played too much Tetris in my history class.And by an Highscore of 500K it begins to be boring)

For me any free time is perfect to play or program on my TI, but if i'm in a boring class time in the morning. I dont hesitate to play mario.

But seriously, I don't have a preference. I like playing Mario in my classes, though, as half my teachers don't seem to care. I also play both Mario and Puzzle Pack after school. (side note) Is TASM On Calc any good? (/side note). I guess my gaming life is not limited to Nintendo, Sony, and Flash Games such as N. Power to Mario 2.0!!!

[side note]According to the review I've seen, it is.[/side note] I play calculator games when I'm sitting in a doctor's office or waiting for a plane or something, but in my free time most of my gaming is done in Linux. (Metal Blob Solid, Virus Killer, Starfighter, Defendguin, TORCS, PlanetPenguin Racer, GL-117, Supertux, etc.)

Yeah, I play calculator games during class but I prefer playing them on linux. I have 3 laptops and a desktop that run linux so I usually have a linux computer with me :)

I agree completely, I stay up late into the night or early in the morning programming both for the computer and the calculator.

When I stay up too late, I just end up writing really broken code half-asleep that takes a lot of work the next morning to correct.

I find that I am more creative and better at coding when it is late at night. I just have to remember not to stay up to late because I have to get up at 6:30.

When on my computer, I find that being half asleep makes it easier for me to debug my programs because I don't have so many assumptions that I've already written good code (which is, of course, usually the case ;)) that get in the way of my debugging.
But for writing original code, I do prefer working when I can actually keep my eyes open.

Well you're lucky. ;-) When I try to debug half-asleep I miss obvious problems, get really annoyed when I can't find a bug, and everything seems to blend together into endless lines of code with a small unrecognizable bug in it *somewhere*.

One time the problem was a line of code I *thought* I had commented out...evidently that wasn't the case, as I found out after hours of frustrating debugging...

There are reasons I don't write comments until I'm done with an entire section of code--unless the comments are on a sheet of paper, not in my program....
