We need another option (goodness this sounds like slashdot): Calcsys! That's probably on the top 10 for reasons my calculator crashes (and realize that these were INTENTIONAL crashes!)

Check the link for a wonderful quote by Dan on his app.

Hmm...Equation Writer can also cause crashes rather easily (both the free & app versions). If I remember correctly, hitting diamond-( (matrix brackets) at the wrong time causes an address error. Also, copying (copyright symbol)(lowercase "a" with circle above), then pasting into EQW, will let you type in tokenized code (inside the string field inside the (C) form, then press Enter on the whole thing)...which can easily mess things up really badly. Then again, variables with a null name can be fun, as can "magic strings" (non-textual objects between quotes).

Sometimes I crash my calc intentionally with System Hacker, by sending random values to random ports or messing with important memory locations if I get really bored.

Ummm...yeah, putting a calc in water does usually seem to make it not work correctly...how did the river and stream incidents happen?

I remember one time on #tcpa MV asked us if we wanted to try his new version of phoenix that he'd been working on. Having faith in his programming, I downloaded it and began playing.
Then, out of nowhere, RAM CLEAR!
I told him about it, and he swears it wasn't his code, but I'd rather just blame it on him.

It's usually a flaw in my programming, but I like to play the blame game and say that TI's os needs to be updated to keep up to snuff with my programming skills....haha
If anyone's calculator crashes at my school, its usually "my fault" because im the one who deals with all the calculator issues.....uhhh...slow people
