I'm a bit surprised that so many people didn't seem to know that the mailing lists even existed. I think I remember a similar poll some time back that showed similar results. I think that's a sign that perhaps the ticalc.org site should be designed so that they're more obvious, and maybe it should include some extra information for people who have never used a mailing list before.
I know that there was a time where the mailing lists were very popular and quite busy. Around the time I subscribed, things had dropped off a lot. Now, I haven't bothered resubscribing because I expect there to be practically no messages.
Maybe if we could make them more known, and people are willing to sign up and post, we could resurrect them. That would be really nice.
