I'm going to be trying to finish MLC86, as well as at least getting somewhere significant on the main code of Operation Neptune, and then there are the programs I wrote years ago that are fairly bad and really need improvement... Oh yeah, and I've also been thinking about e-mailing the author of XC-1701 II so I can get the source and port it to the 86. So I'll be busy.

I am planning to work on my DDR clone called Dance Crazy for the 89. I took a nice long break from it and am ready to go back to it now. It's in the archives, you should check it out!

No, I am sorry to announce that I will be unable to continue work on Metroid 68k this summer :(

I work at boy scout camp, and though I have a laptop I do not have the time. I will do my best to get right back to work upon my return in August.

Thanks for all of your patience : )

where do you live about? I wish I could go to scout camp, but parents are leaving then and won't be back for a while, so i have no way to get there and back.

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Still, no real calc projects. I might learn either z80 ASM or C/C++. don't know yet. Oh well, if you know good C/C++ tutorials on the internet, let me know. I know about 83+ ASM in 28 Days for ASM

I'd ask you where in Grand Rapids you lived (my grandfather lives there), but I don't know it that well: I only know I'm near his house when driving down Plainfield Avenue, I pass the Russ'.

I plan to work on actual code of my port of TIGCC to Mac OS X (Cocoa), and as soon as I get something decent ot I get bored, I'll start on the other TICT programs (making GUI frontends, that is).

I'm going to finish my Cribbage program! Actually, I'll probably end up scrapping what I have and restarting because it is not good, not good at all. Oh well.

Are there any other cribbage programs out there? Just curious.

I will try to make the program I started last summer called BinPic. There is a version in the archives, but it is slow both decoding and encoding messages.
Check it out and tell me how I can make it better. (note, decoding on an 83+ will be slow)

Programming? Yes.
For calculators? Probably not :(

True, calculators are good for some things, but computers are more powerful. I'm not sure about 68k calcs, but z80s have somewhat limited variable storage (and space for the ones that are there).

68K calculators are much better at handling variables than z80s. For one, they support 32-bit addressing natively (up to four gigabytes can be immediately addressed with ONE register), whereas the z80 is only 8-bit.

I have too many new and existing projects. In fact, I've so much (for computer and calculator) that it's doubtful I'll finish them :/

Continuation of last summer's project

I am going to try to finish Windfall XP. If I ever do finish, I will make sure that it works properly. Lately I have been haveing lots of problems with my TI-83. It has been reseting itself alsmost everytime I turn it on. I think it has a lose wire from the battery compartment, and I think my backup battery is dead, since the wire is lose. I guess I am going to have to disect it. Yea!
