No, not one as good (or even anywhere near as good) as ticalc.org. I tried to start one, but never had the time. I'll bet a lot of people would do stuff like that if they just had more time. Any more sleep deprivation and I'll go crazy...

It appears that the survey is now changed regularly.

Just more frequently. It was four days since the last one was posted - usually it's seven to ten.

I would like the surveys to be updated more often...more questions, more feedback, and more discussion. How can you go wrong? Just adding my thoughts to the board...

I thought there were pointless surveys out there, but this takes the cake!

Yes. Almost just as pointless as the "What is your gender?" survey.

I found that that survay just reinforced ideas I had, but the fact that there were about 15 girls did surprise me.

Well if you have any survey ideas that are not pointless, we would love to hear them. Just email us, and we'll see if we can post them.

I thought the Gender survey was pretty good. It's good to know that I'm not some demon child that is condemned to a life of uniqueness. :)

There is nothing wrong with uniqueness! It's the unique that become rich and popular. Bill Gates is unique, and he seems happy.

That survey was NOT pointless! That's my favorite survey so far! No other survey got so many responses, or so many speeches by Laura!

Well do your 89 basic programs utilize 89 basic greyscale.Well I am just wondering because I am thinking I might send my little ways to utilize the CyclePic function so you can get kick butt graphics on games and still have a lot of memeory.I have used it but I only try when I am at school and can not do asm.I am still working on my project and have little time to write the thing for the featured articles on this site.So do you think II should?anyone?

What I don't understand is why people get stupid domain names that coinside with their names(cough..nick...ahem) I mean, what the hell is the point to causg up 30$ for a name no company would ever want to buy, has no purpose other than bragging rights, and really is not all that great.

Yeah, but fission2 is a cool name! nickd sounds somewhat lame.. I'm not arguing over the fact that you will have to pay money, I'm arguing over the point of why! Why would you want to own it? If you want a page that'll stick woth you, why not get a XOOM account or something rather than coughing up $30 to $100 bucks to get a site that is not all that different. OOO! Perhaps you'll get rid of the banners or crap, but is it really worth it?

Netsol's fees are $70, mind you.
I was planning on registering a domain that would last me a long time. I was thinking of either bluecalx.net or nickd.org.
I figured that in ten years, I probably won't be calling myself BlueCalx :)

This wasn't prompted as a result of me working at ticalc.org - Henrik owns a domain and you don't see him getting any flak over it ;)

Actually, the NetSol fees are $35 a year, and you can choose from 1-10 years. That means you can have your own dot com for as low as $35. When I discovered this I registered the domain name that is the same as my name, as well as another neat one.

Back when I registered nickd.org, it was still a fixed $70 for two years :-(

The decision to allow registrants to go by the year instead of the stupid 2-year rule is fairly recent. At least, it happened right after I got a domain for my family...

Yeah Nick just letting you know that $70 for 2 years is only $35 a year. You guys may be calculator gods but your math skills are very much lacking.
