Brand new TI of course. I could always sell it on ebay and buy chocolate if the need every arose anyway.

I wouldn't sell it on Ebay, but I could if I HAD to.

If you think about it, even if you wanted the chocolates you could buy a calculator and sell it for enough money to get like 20 boxes of chocolate!

But you'd lose money in the process! Just buy the chocolate in the first place, you'll get more!

Come on, we're all supposed to be math people! :P

Yeah, because no one would buy the calc on eBay for the store price + shipping...

...Add something to its programs that no one else has ever seen ;) then they will buy it for more.

(Just tell 'em that the program's execution has never been seen by anyone before you, and put a simple program with a RandInt() function to make a number and display it. No one has ever seen that number :-D)

We're talking a single box of chocolates over a single TI calculator. I'd take the calculator anyday.

I never understood the hype about chocolate.....or any candy.....maybe I'm drug resistant or something. I would definitely take the new calculator because it's just such a better deal. Besides, you eat chocolate so eventually, it will be gone but the calculator will last as long as you make it last.

I've always felt that way about food in general. I could go to a really nice restaurant and easily spend $50 on 2 people, OR, I could buy an 80GB SATA hard-drive. Obviously the effects of the meal would never last more than a day...but I could get weeks full of enjoyment through the movies I stored on this new hard-drive. For me, the choice is obvious. But before I bought the drive, I would think, "Do I really need an 80GB hard-drive? I'm doing fine with the 110 I have." And then I wouldn't spend the $50 at all. I guess I'll be one of those types who can actually balance my budget. No credit cards for me.

I'll be happy to take the 80g drive if you don't need it. :^)

$50 for a 80 gig hard drive?!? what a rip off. I bought my 160 gig hard drive for $59 at CompUSA. This week Circuit city is selling them for that price also. (I'm cheap enough to go through all of that rebate stuff)

I wouldn't say it's cheap. I find it really stupid when money is used when it doesn't have to be. If you are offered FREE MONEY just like that like in a rebate and you don't take it, you have problems.

Any girl that got me an 89Ti would have an instant prom date, and I wasn't even planning on going to "the Prom". What is prom short for, anyway, promotion? Anyway, an 84+ wouldn't do much good, because I have an 89 already and it'ld have to be a gift that would serve me some purpose. Chocolates would just get someone on my good list...but a bag of Kit-Kat bars is a sure winner! :)

There is a slight lack of logic in your post.
After all, in our situation it's hardly waiting for a girl that will do something like that, it's more finding one that goes for the lowest bidder, so to speak.

Wow. I'm not the only one who has moral objections to "the Prom". Great site.

Of course, those moral objections would immediately become irrelevant with the opportunity to utilize this social engagement. :D
Just Kidding.

Content aside, that's a really good graphical design of the website. Are you majoring in Graphic Design or similar in college? Are you just a good artist?

It only looks good because I studied another site and then tried to develop a similar layout. I really have no design abilities.
