Yep, I'm an all of the abover, and it is good to see that many are. Though, there should have been the "It is made by TI" option.

All of the above for me - after all, I collect them.

Collecting them has nothing to do with the all of the above...the question is...WHY do you collect the ones you collect? Probably because they are made by TI, or for program testing...that's the only reasons I can think of. if you collect them (especially the older calcs) because "they look cool", I would seek help immediately.

I collect the TI graphing calculators so I can broaden my TI-Basic programming reach/appeal. Not all of us have TI-89s, so I figured I'd start programming for the TI-86 and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition (since I now have those calculators).

Hey, I was looking at your author profile, and your 'fake wall city' program had the wrong screen shot.

We should start a collectors' club.

Yay! *Orders an 86 to add to his collection*

How many calculators would be required in a "collection"? I like having an 89T and an 83+SE... and I'm only in 9th grade!

I have 2 89's, an 83+, an hp49g, and an hp49g+...I'd say that constitutes a collection...although I lack a calculator without flash memory...

definitely math capabilites. i'd love to see a better stats app. i'm in advanced stats in college, and the kind of stuff we're into is way past the 83. we have to use minitab and spss.

also, i'd love to see a better finance app. it does the basics, very well i might add, but once you're past basic finance, excel is mostly what I use.

not that I don't love the stats and finance functions - i couldn't live without them. especially as a finance major - which deals big time with stats.

I'm sorry... I love games so I pretty look for a fast processor and lots o ram. That's why I have a TI-84+ SE with half of memory still available.
Well, I'm gonna download some more now...

But then programming capabilities would be important as well.

Without programming capabilities, there would be no games! Without good programming capabilities, there wouldn't be good games!

I chose other. I wish there was an option like "Does it say 'TI-89' at the top".

Heh, they gave you a special dyslexic version of the TI-83+SE, didn't they?

Hmm, but if they were dyslexic, I don't think you could do anything to help them read the calculator screen. Unless it had sound. Then the only people who couldn't use that would have to have dyslexia AND dysphasia, and I don't think that's very common. ... *shuts up*

Hmm...

'TI-89TitaniumSucks'

Seems to be some spaces missing. :) Maybe I just take things too literally. But then, so does every computer I have programmed.

Oops, I meant:

Not quite literal enough. :)

Actually, even that isn't right because you have to use the & character on the 89 to concatenate strings. The way they did it just results in:
"89" + "Titanium" + "Sucks"
So I'm the litreral king after all...

No, no "Titanium". Titanium editions are just 89s with a bulkier, less easy to use case with crappier colours and a usb port that I wouldn't use anyways.
