looking at your author profile that is kind of creepy. I mean, who writes hate mail for a bunch of basic games by one author. I dont mean to say that theyre bad, but the fact that even people with a ton of assembly programs dont get that much mail.

Yeah, the programs don't look bad...even if they were, that's no reason for hate mail-if there's a program you don't like, just don't use it!!!

If anybody is interested in a 25 byte 'any size' sprite routine for any z80 TI plz email me. I need a tester for the 85, but the rest are stable and quite useful (bug free as well). It will be uploaded soon once all are in an easy to use package (probably to z80 Documentation).

Well, since the topic is now off track...
(This is directed to anyone with an 84+)

In the program command menu, at the very end of the list, is 2 commands not explained in the manual. OpenLib( and ExecLib. What in the world are they for...?? I emailed TI a day ago, but they have yet to respond. Maybe they don't even know what it is. lol

Speaking from experience, TI takes literally weeks, even months, to reply to anything. Especially if it's anything difficult. They will answer, though, but maybe sometime in June.

Well, judging that it's TI-Basic, hopefully those commands are to improve graphics speed. I think there might be built in libraries, or soon to be released ones from TI. Also, it could just be a way to allow asm commands in Basic, or for sound, greyscale, who knows what else... But of course 'Lib' means library :-) Judging from OpenLib, it's bound to be somethnig that can be made easily by almost anybody.

TI replied, and those 2 commands are for a library application.

yah, I've uploaded most of my big programs. I think I'm crazy though, because I write these huge programs that are made as easily understandable for other people as possible, yet I'm really the only one that uses them. Theres a couple of people that download them, but the point is that I spend extra time making them understandable, when I'm the only one that uses them. I think that's kinda wierd. Anywho, I got a kick in the face today (Yay!). I don't know if anybody's played 09 Armies or not, It's gotten like 5000 downloads or something, but It was just recently rated. The 4.5 kinda hurts. Oh well. I don't know why I brought that up. It kinda seemed to have something to do with the topic. Oh well, some people like it (I'v gotten a couple of e-mails).

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I'm still seeing a lot of BASIC programs being uploaded that have already been done, modified, copied before ad nauseam. I mean, when I logged on, right away I saw "prgmDISTANCE", a program to calculate distance. Wow. How many of THOSE are out there? I could even make one off the top of my head.

prgm: DISTANCE
Input "X1: ", A
Input "X2: ", B
Input "Y1: ", C
Input "Y2: ", D
sqrt((C-A)^2 + (D-B)^2 -> A
Disp "Distance:", A
