I usually don't upload them because they are quite useless, and so it would be fair to pollute the archives with it.

Btw there should be an option 100%-200% for some people who upload files double or triple :-P (Joke!)

I make dozens of files weekly but I have only uploaded 4 to date. Most of them are only shortcuts to functions like now we are starting Trig(?) in my math class. I made somthing to find and set up the calc for SIN, COS, and TAN. I also made many things for a startup program that clear un-neccisary things out (vars, etc.) and some programs just for fun to waste time. Most of my programs I would not want to give to anyone. I only know one person that actually wanted one that I didn't even want.

I don't bother to upload my stuff because they are useless to anyone but (and occationally including) me. Many of mine require that you press [ON] to exit them because I didn't think to include a exit command. Oh, well, they work for math class where I need them...besides, why do you think I end up deleting most of them?

The ones I plan on uploading I doubt I'll finish or ever release because I'm just plain tired of programing. It seems like things go in cycles...game cycles (mario, racing, etc.); programing cycles (more progams, less programs, no programs released, etc.).

why does spelling an grammer matter here if you can still tell what is being said? It's not Language Arts class and we're not being graded.

anyway.. i usually make a bunch of programs that do functions, but aren't fancied up enough to be user friendly to the public. I usually make a to-do list to finish them, of which is still 100% pending. : )

Also, I am always paranoid it's somehow pumping out wrong answers. so I spend all kinds of time testing it. eventually i'll put them out.

None. Of my 5% of my programs that are no-trivial (I.E. Does more than solve a quadriatic eqation), for none of them I't feel like writing ducumentation beyond commenting the source and thus don't upload them.

That sounds like me. By the way, I forgot, what's a quadratic equation? I don't think I've needed them in Geometry.

Quadratic Equation: 0=ax²+bx+c

Quadratic Formula: (-b±*square root*(b²-4ac))/2a

I can't show the quadratic formula the way it normally is, but it's still right.

I like that you took the effort to get the +/- thing though...that's all I would have put: "+/-"

You won't believe this - one of my friends at school has a TI-83+ and a TI-86 and they didn't know that quad solver programs exist!

This is the same person that says that I spend too much time on calculators. I wonder how long it will take for him to find this web site like I told him to do...

I upload about 1.6% my my progs. I'm guessing that people who mainly do asm would upload a larger %.

Yah, I probably only get about 10 percnet of my programs uploaded. In fact, I'd actually like to take some of the bad ones (I uploaded when I first got my link cable) off. But it seems to me that everybody at Ti-Calc is rather busy with all of this file purging thing, and I don't want to bother them. Plus I'm sure they'll all be purged when they start with the file filtering.
