Sometimes you think very strongly that a program is very good for a very small section of the community, and they won't feature it. For instance, some people think that 90% of KermMartian's programs are useless, but I personally think that there's nothing wrong with uploading code snippets and routines for use by less experienced programmers. So I guess I might...

Uploading code snippets/examples and utilities is perfectly fine. It helps the community because it helps newbies.

I don't like the fact that the first two choices are tied. I hope that everyone will write a review, and not just one. Write a review for every program that you use, please. And be honest.

the problem is i use only one or two programs, and usually asm routines. so its not going to help the average joe downloader.

Every program I use? That's sort of hard...but I can definitely see your point. I'm still waiting for one of mine to get a review ;-)....

it seems like the surveys never really get answered. Right now, theres only 79 votes on this one. But so many people visit the site, and its not hard to vote on a survey...

you have to be a registered user with a valid e-mail to vote. that takes too much time for some people.

the survey's still relatively new, also.

That is something that will be eventually fixed. The old system had a "Recent Reviews" sidebar that you chose to display on the front page if you do so wish.

I've seen them, maybe you just aren't looking at the right programs.

I think if TICalc's registered users spent less time writing silly posts on the news articles and devoted some of this effort to write reviews they could be really helpful.

Well, I usually vote, but a few days ago, the sidebars disappeared when I viewed ticalc.org in Netscape.

The reason I'm here is because I'm temporarily using IE.

I've so far written 3 reviews one on Wolfenstein83 one on GlassCars and one on Glitched Mario 2.0 which I haven't actually played but thought it was great how the author used the glitch as a gimmick, I love reviewing I have my own system of grading the rockingness-o-meter, which is measure in what articles of clothing/body parts come off your body and what activity/dance they start doing after, then there's the first-born-son-o-meter which determines what I would do with my first born son for the game (should that first born son ever arrive)Anyway I'm babbling just read my reviews
