I'm on a cable line and I notice the difference, so it must be faster.

It is faster than before.

I see the archive contents now have the MIME types set correctly (now I can view images from the archive in Mozilla without a problem).

Is an 8mbit connection fast? i know it's not, but what beats it? (my school has this connection, sometimes the network has a fit, and even when i'm the only one on a computer there, it still loads a bit slow, everything is loaded to the server and it takes a couple if seconds for the server to say HEY send, and instantly sends, wtf?)
At home it loads as fast as it can at 33.6k which seems faster with your new server!

If there aren't any other computers using the 8mbit connection at the same time as you, and it still goes slow... It's probably somewhere between you and the internet (bandwidth limiting, poor firewall, etc...) for a single computer 8mbit is FAST.... (I'm on a 1mbit down .5 up connection...)
