The coincidences never end, do they?

Why does the apostrophe in the subject line of replies have a backslash before it (I didn't touch my Subject line)? This happens in both IE and Mozilla. I think the news reply CGI program incorrectly escapes apostrophes and other characters within quotes in HTML documents.

This is a minor bug, but I think it's worth pointing out.

Good point... they probably had to enter it as \' to avoid bugs in the script (to use an escape char.), but when the PERL (or whatever) reads it, it reads the backslash AND the apostraphe...

Glad you noticed that... since nobody else said anything, I thought I was seeing things :)

I saw that too but I just thought it was a typo.
