I think too many are too young to qualify as a man.

But yeah this will be interesting to see how many are female.

they've already had polls like this one, I think they are starting to recycle all the old ones.

right now (see bottom right corner for GMT) the results (55 votes) are _all_ in the "Man with a TI calculator" category.

i don't see why they'd recycle (yet)... I sent a very interesting survey a week ago, or so, and they haven't posted it...

I thought of several ideas for surveys. Sometime I think I'll sit down and try to remember them again, and pass them along to ticalc.org.

OK, as you can see by the survey i dont think any women come here. But thats just me

polls are supposed to have options where someone who's gonna see the poll can vote any way.

1 out of every 1000 people who visit this site are female, none of which take the time to vote in polls

so what do you vote if you have more than "A" ti calculator?

What about a TI and an HP calculator?

If you have a TI calculator, then vote for the third option.

If you have two TI calcs you also do have a calculator. Simple.

Spoilsport. What if you ask if you have two dogs? if you have three, than you can check it, etc etc.

I think nobody will vote a "without a TI calculator" option (I don't see any reason why he could be a registered user of this site). BTW I hope to see someone voting "Woman with a TI calculator" (but not for desperation), at my school girls seem not to be TI-friendly (and neither (TI-users)-friendly :( , see previous survey)

My sister owns a TI yet she is not registered to this site. I could vote for her, yet I have already voted. So your "desperation" will be over knowing there is a female TI owner.

By TI-friendly I didn't mean TI-owner. At school some classes are obligated to buy a TI calculator, but many people (boys & girls) uses it only when and how the teacher tells them to do, and they've never played any game on it (well, someone uses it to write poems :). A lot of those "forced users" would like never have heard anything about graphing calcs and don't pay any attention to the existance of ticalc.org

Of course, tons of females HAVE the calculators, but they couldn't care less about programming or ASM, or anything... they just use it for math and occassionally play games. Most think it would ruin their dignity to be in any way like a nerd

Maybe they're planning on getting a calc soon?
