Yay! I celebrated Pi Day!
When is e day?

Actually, it would be cool if TI had a holiday for each of their beloved graphing calculators (i.e. TI-83+ Day)

JcN said it would be cool _if_ there was a day for the calculators, (ex. TI-83+ day) he didn't say that there was one. :)

No, since it's 83+, it'd be the 84th day of the year. TI-83 Day would be the 83rd day of the year... Hey! TI-80 day, then a day off, then TI-82 day, then TI-83 day, then TI-83+/SE day, then TI-85 day, then TI-86 day, then a couple days to relax, then TI-89 day, then another couple days off, then TI-92 day, then TI-92+ day! The only odd ones out are the TI-73 and the Voyage 200...

Yep, Pi day was definately on my agenda! Why wouldn't it be. It is one of the most inportant mathematical contstants [if not the most]! A lot of people don't appreciate the many mathematical and scientific principles that have been used to make their everyday life so much easier!
To the "layman" it is just a lot of "geeky jiberish" [hardly!]! The people should be educated and made aware of the importance of such things so as to create a better world for all to live in.
For example, when ever I mention anything about the "Unified Field Theory" everyone around me [except one of my close friends] looks at me with a puzzled look on their face as if to say "yeah, what ever, science boy!" It will be the greatest scientific descovery IN THE HISTORY AND FUTURE OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!

Sorry to get a bit off track there, but I was just trying to make a point.
It should be our duty to educate and inform of these important parts of everyday life!
Pi Rules!!!!!

YES PI RULES however i forgot that it happened until after school. don't chastise me, i already feel bad enough. a waste of a day, so now i have to wait another year.

happy f***ing st. patrick's day, i won't celebrate it because I'M A SCOT and THEREFORE I CAN FLOUT IT OPENLY WITHOUT FEAR OF RETRIBUTION. Also, I haven't a speck of green on today except for the solder resist on the motherboards of my calculators. Well, I hope it doesn't count. oh great now i'm being pinched for writing this.

...."Unified Field Theory"

Don't you mean the Grand Unified Theory (GUT) that, when discovered, will explain the structure and behavior of the universe in one theory, thus explaining and uniting both deep-space astronomy and quantum mechanics as a single theory?

Umm, it is the "Unified Field Theory!" [ie, the unification of all four forces that exist in our universe! Gravity, Electro Magnetism, Stong Nuclear Force and Weak Nuclear Force!]
They have already found unification of two fields, electro weak force as it is known!
Don't try to controdict me! I know what I am talking about!

Any way, HAPPY Pi DAY!!!!!!

Thank you all for the help. It seems to be going good so far. For those who don't know what they are talking about. I sent an e-mail to many members of ticalc.org asking for help in screenshotting the archives. Every single file needs one.

If I didn't send you an e-mail it wasn't because i don't wantt you to help, it's because I didn't see your name in the article I pullled most of these members from.

If you would like to take a directory and help out with the screenshots please contact me. I will set you up.

I counted and I have made 1,004 screen shots for 86/asm over the last 18 days, who is up to beating me.

Try that for motivation. :-)
