If the computer doesn't respond, then press option(alt)+open apple then
esc.  You'll be thrown into the debugger.  If that doesn't work, do it
again with 'G F'.

Atleast when it does crash, it doesn't give you the option of continue
working while your OS hashes all of your applications and their data...
