Re: TI 86/92 programs compatible?
The only practical reasons to get a TI-86 rather than a TI-92 are that the
TI-86 is cheaper, and is allowed on more tests than the TI-92. It also has
number bases and unit conversions, and a little bit more memory. The TI-92 has
many more features, though; mainly symbolic manipulation and geometry.
TI-86 programs will not run on a TI-92 without manual conversion. To convert a
program from 86 to 92, you need to be familiar with both calcs.

Subject: TI 86/92 programs compatible?
Are programs for the TI-86 and TI-92 compatible (or easily modifiable to
work)? Also, I'm still debating as to which one to get. Does the TI-86
have any advantages over the TI-92? Price not withstanding. :-)
Thanks,
Tom
