I agree totally!
About KickASM (with which I was the last new member and only 82ASM
programmer), they really failed because access to his webpage got shut down by
his ISP (or something to that effect, he might just have changed ISP's and
they never deleted the site). But the truth is, they had existed for a good
amount of time before I joined, and had never put out a program (besides Lunar
Lander, but they didn't really count that ;-) ). A whole big thing about
SameGame for me was that it would be the first KickASM program. Anyway that
never happened and KickASM has been dead for almost a year and a half.
